HUMAN NATURE

Over the weekend I was visiting LA, California, for business and for an invite-only weekend seminar. Included in the seminar was a gala event on Saturday evening. Naturally I chose something sparkly and fun for such an exciting event. You can’t go wrong with a Mac Duggal dress. They are well-made and flattering on the silhouette. This style of dress does run a bit large for reference. I am currently mostly a size 4 but I bought this in size 6 and had it altered to fit. I didn’t take many pictures while I was on my trip since I was always on the go. I did manage to quickly snap this picture in the elevator before the door opened despite my hair tangling in my fingers (haha). With that said, here is a short blog post today to share with you all!

When life happens, it can be heaven or hell. The next response to this outcome, depends on you.

When it comes to humans, I say there is always a Judas amongst friends. Someone in your circle will eventually betray you in some way, whether it is big or small. Now this may sound dramatic to say, but it is just the truth spoken in a poetic way. As a writer and artist, we tend to tap into poetic word choices to convey our ideas. I think there is beauty in that despite the “bad” truth. It’s just another life lesson that we go through in this world.

When you look at philosophies, religious, and spiritual texts, you can look at them in the eye as being allegories of the constant trials and errors of humans. When you look at these texts, it is the same issues and occurrences that are in modern day as well. History repeats itself, just always in a new face.

A perfect example would be the story of Adam & Eve, and the snake. This story is an allegory of the situations we face in life everyday. If you make the right decision, your vibration and connection to the self and God/the universe stays positive and high vibrating. If you make the wrong decision, it will knock you out of the state of felicity. Thus, making you into a low vibration where you face the consequences of your decision/actions.

And when you ask why humans are like this? Why do they repeat the same mistakes over and over throughout history? As Michael Jackson said, “tell ’em that it’s human nature.”
