I had the pleasure of attending the 2023 FashioNXT Industry Panel + Brunch even this past Saturday. The panel featured Marko Monroe, Presley Poe, Rylie 4 Ever, and Steven Smith with designer Colty moderating. It was a fun and interesting panel to teach the attendees on how various content can be currency (aside from the obvious of money being the top currency). It was a great event overall and I met a lot of new wonderful people in the art community. I will say that the sunlight was a bit strange that day, so the lighting was off in all my pictures. But, I decided to post a picture anyway despite my perfectionist side protesting lol
Naturally for my outfit, I chose a pink STAUD dress that I scored on sale for almost 50% off! I had my eye on this dress since Spring to be honest but just couldn’t pull the trigger to buy it. What better excuse to buy something you like because it is at such a killer price?
With the craze of the new Barbie movie in theaters, you would think that was my inspiration for this look. But, I have been a huge fan of the color pink for over 10 years now. So this color and silhouette dress choice is just a normal day for me! However, I will say it is good timing with the release of this movie for me to also be dressing like a doll as well.
Now what some of you may have noticed – I am wearing silver accessories instead of my signature gold! I felt silver was a more suited choice for the brunch event for my styled outfit. Not to say gold wouldn’t work either. A pink dress with sparkling drop earrings is just so ethereal if you ask me.
